CGMA.org Migration Redesign
The CGMA.org Migration Redesign project focused on updating the wireframe and design of the CGMA website before migrating it to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The objective was to enhance user experience and modernize the site’s interface, ensuring better navigation and functionality. After the wireframes and design were approved, the second phase involved art directing an external agency, guiding branding and best practices, and reviewing the coded design layouts to ensure quality control throughout the migration process. The updated site aimed to increase user engagement and improve the site's performance metrics. Key Learnings: Updated Wireframe and Design—The redesign improved the website’s usability, increasing user engagement post-launch. The new wireframe streamlined site navigation, reducing bounce rates and increasing users' time spent per session. External Agency Art Direction - Strong collaboration with the external agency ensured adherence to CGMA's branding guidelines and best practices. This improved visual consistency across the site and ensured the design was responsive and adaptable across different devices, leading to increased mobile traffic. Post-Coding Design Review—The post-coding review process ensured all functional elements worked as intended. This attention to detail decreased post-launch bug reports and smoothed the user experience. The redesigned site also achieved a faster page load time due to optimized coding practices.
